"Stairs to Heaven" Sculpture Lyudmyla Mysko Malyarenko

This abstract composition. This project represents allegory of person wants to know the truth and harmony. The idea of a simple geometric shape of a square. The entire structure is made of cubes. Structure creates a double twisted spiral and it can be correlated with a circle and interpreted as a way of deploying the life force, the spiral is a symbol of life. Like a circle, spiral bound with the image of infinity and embodies the idea of development, continuity and cosmic rhythms. In this work, the void has the same weight as the matter of the stone.

1971 was born in Kyiv, Ukraine.
1994-2000 – studied Sculpture, National Academy of Fine Arts, Kyiv, Ukraine.
Member of the Union of Ukrainian Professional Artists (since 2005).

Artist lives and works in Kyiv. She working with stone, wood, bronze, sand, ice, snow. During last 20 years took part in about 150 International sculpture symposiums, exhibitions, festivals, art actions in more than 25 countries. Winner of various prizes for sculpture, photography, designer collection.

Her art is presented in public and private collections in Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brasilia, Canada, Chile, China, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, India, Israel, Iran, Nepal, Palestine, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Syria, Switzerland, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, UK, Ukraine, Vietnam, Japan.
